LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People raised a beer for an annual Oktoberfest tradition in downtown Louisville on Saturday.
Steins on Main returned for its second year at Repurposed on Main Street. The free, German-style event had food, games, live music and beer from 12 breweries.
There was the traditional tapping of the keg and contests for the best costumes and best yodel. There was also a stein holding contest, which was won by Jenna Tackett.
"Super nervous, didn't really want to do it but I was like 'all right, I am going to try this out,' I was probably one of the older people doing it," Tackett said. "I used to be an athlete so I was like I got this."
The event was rescheduled from last month, which was postponed due to rain.
