LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Another suspect is in custody in connection with a theft ring police believe is responsible for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars in merchandise from Louisville area Lowe's stores.Ā

Gary Carman, 58, was arraigned Saturday morning, two days after he was arrested on Feb. 29 following an investigation that stretches back several months. Jeffersontown Police continue to look for two other suspects they allege were part of the Lowe's theft ring that has already landed two people behind bars.

On Nov, 14,Ā two men were arrestedĀ for allegedly stealing more than $300,000 worth of merchandize from multiple stores.Ā

Aubrey Walker and William Walker are both charged with theft and engaging in organized crime. Walker also has pending charges in Franklin and Hardin counties.

In previous WDRB reporting, Jeffersontown Police said they were also actively searching for 60-year-old Anthony Maurice Phillips and 42-year-old Robert Edward Lewis.

Investigators said the men used information from different local business accounts to make purchases at various Lowe's locations. They would then store and install the stolen merchandise in their homes and investment properties, according to court documents.

When the companies the men used were billed, Lowe's found out they weren't employees and had to absorb the loss.Ā

Below is a video of the stolen goods found that totals nearly $160,000.

Investigators said the theft ring has targeted stores in Jeffersontown, Louisville, Frankfort, Lexington, and Owensboro and Evansville, Indiana.

The overall loss by Lowe's in Louisville was more than $300,000 and the theft ring's cumulative losses exceed $900,000, according to court documents.Ā

During Saturday's hearing, the judge determined Carman is a danger and a flight risk and set his bond at $35,000 cash.Ā

He is due back in court on March 11.Ā
