LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police and family members are asking for help finding a man who's been missing for nearly a week.

"Well, last Friday afternoon he walked out the wrong door of Audubon Hospital," Karen Lamkin, mother of missing man, said. "He walked out through the ambulance entrance. That was somewhere around 2 p.m. and we've not been able to find him since."

Charles "Andy" Lamkin, 38, was last seen on Monday and Tuesday in the area of Preston Highway and Parkway Drive.

Police said he may be in the Audubon Park area. He also has a history of mental health illness.

Family members have spent the last several days putting up flyers and checking homeless camps near Audubon Hospital.

"Andy is 5'9, 5'10, he has got bright red hair. He's got a bright red beard. He was wearing an orange Under Armour hoodie. And the light gray sweatpants which had a UPS logo on the left leg and the cowboy boots," Lamkin said.
