LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Latasha White.
LMPD said a missing person's report for the 49-year-old was taken May 1 and was assigned to the Missing Persons Unit.
Councilwoman Tammy Hawkins, D-District 1, said White's last communication with her family was at 3 p.m. April 28 and there were no signs of anything off in those calls and texts.
She was last seen the day before in Louisville's Park Hill neighborhood.
According to Hawkins, family members found the cameras at White's home off and that was unusual. White's keys are missing, but her car, wallet, ID and cell phone were left behind at the home.
White is described as 6-foot-1, approximately 220 pounds, with dreads and four gold front top teeth, along with glasses. She also has several tattoos on her body.Â
Police said White's disappearance is an open and active investigation.
If you see White or think you may know her whereabouts, you're asked to call LMPD immediately at 502-574-LMPD (502-574-5673) or 911.
