LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police are asking for the public's help to find a missing 17-year-old girl who could be headed to Florida.

Louisville Metro Police said in a news release Simone Drabant was last seen Saturday, Oct. 4, in Prospect near Riverway Drive and Shirley Avenue.

Drabant may have been last seen wearing gray sweatpants and is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 160 pounds. She has blue eyes and black hair.

Police said she "expressed a desire to leave the state," and her family believes she's in a crisis. Drabant hasn't been in communication with family and may need medical attention.

She could also be in the 9800 block of Melissa Drive near Hurstbourne and Tamarisk parkways, police said.
