LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville police are searching for a missing 69-year-old man.

Louisville Metro Police issued an Endangered Missing Person Wednesday for Michael Simmons. 

Police said he left his home in the 200 block of Kenoak Drive in Louisville's Iroquois neighborhood around noon Wednesday and didn't return.

His family is worried Simmons is lost and confused.

Simmons is described as a white man, 5-foot-11 and 230 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a hunter-green hoodie with jeans or sweat pants. 

Police said Simmons is known to walk the area near the Pic Pac at 6629 Southside Drive.
