LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man who was critically injured in a crash in southern Jefferson County Tuesday evening has died at the hospital.
Officers responded to reports of an injury accident in the 4300 block of Camp Ground Road, near Ralph Avenue, around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Matt Sanders.Â
When officers arrived on scene, they found a motorcyclist had crashed and was non-responsive, Sanders said.Â
Sanders said the motorcyclist, who was the only one involved in the crash, was transported to UofL Hospital in critical condition, and later died.Â
LMPD's Traffic Unit is leading the investigation into the crash.
Southbound lanes on Camp Ground Road were closed due to the investigation, but have since reopened.Â
