LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man died after falling from scaffolding while working at Brown-Forman Corporation on Dixie Highway Wednesday afternoon.
Dwight Mitchell, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers responded to a call of a person down in the 900 block of Dixie Highway around 12:30 p.m.
Officers found a man who was injured from the fall from the 6th floor of a building. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to Brown-Forman spokeswoman Elizabeth Conway, the incident involved a contractor, and it took place on their main campus.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
"We extend our deepest sympathy and thoughts to his family during this difficult time," Conway said in a statement.
