LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was hurt after a shooting in the Portland neighborhood Thursday morning.

LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said a man approached officers on Crop Street around 12:15 a.m. saying that he had been shot.

He was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot injuries and went straight into surgery.

He is expected to survive and there and no known suspects as of this writing.
