LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police said a man was shot and killed Saturday in Louisville's Chickasaw neighborhood.
LMPD said it happened around 2:30 p.m. Saturday at a house in the 700 block of Dearborn Avenue. Officers were responding to "a report of a corpse" when they found a man's body.
Police said the victim was shot in the abdomen, and he died at the scene.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim Sunday as 64-year-old Jimmie Robertson.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating.
