LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- People were all aboard to see model trains in Louisville on Saturday.
The National Model Railroad Association held a show and sale at the Holy Family Parish Saffin Center on Poplar Level Road. Around 800 people were expected to attend the event.
Many dealers were selling model train equipment and there was four operating train layouts, along with vendors. For the last three decades, the show has been held twice a year.
"For me I like watching people's faces when they find that thing they're looking for and it's here and their face lights up," organizer Mike Berry said. "It's fun for me."
The next train show will be held in March. To learn more about Division 8 - Mid Central Region - National Model Railroad Association, click here.
