LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A motorcyclist died two weeks after losing control and crashing on Greyling Drive near Fairdale.
Louisville Metro Police spokesperson Aaron Ellis said it happened around 5:20 a.m. May 7 at Greyling Drive and Lamborne Boulevard. Police investigators said two motorcyclists were following each other when the first driver lost control and hit a guardrail. The second motorcyclist, Ellis said, then overturned as well.
Both men were transported to U of L Hospital with life-threatening injuries. The first motorcyclist to fall died Tuesday, May 21, at the hospital, Ellis said.
LMPD's Traffic Unit is investigating the crashes.
