LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new playground built for kids of all ages and abilities opened this week at Seneca Park in Louisville.
The Louisville Olmsted Parks Conservancy worked to bring the new playground to Seneca Park, which the organization said has more accessibility than the old playground.
Louisville Parks and Recreation invested $349,237 to upgrade the current play area and make it ADA accessible. Crews built a new playground with poured-in-place surfacing, a companion swing and other equipment children with all abilities can use.
