NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- A quiet neighborhood on Valley View Court in New Albany was rattled this week by an FBI investigation.
The investigation Tuesday was centered around a home on that street. Investigators were seen going in and out of the house carrying boxes and other items.
Diana Miller said Wednesday that she was in bed when she was awoken by a loud bang.
"My neighbor starts hollering," Miller said. "I'm like 'What's going on?' I looked out my window and watched it all unfold."
There was also a search dog at the home, but it's still not clear exactly what the team was searching for there.
"I heard over the loud speaker 'Come out with your hands up!' and I thought 'What in the world?'" said one woman in the area who wanted to remain anonymous. "... I don't know what was going on, if it was drugs or he killed somebody. I have no clue, so that is a little bit scary, not knowing who I live by."
FBI Louisville said there were several other investigations at multiple locations throughout Louisville and southern Indiana.

Officials confirmed Wednesday that agents raided an apartment complex on Factory Lane in east Louisville but they wouldn't say which one.
"I sat right here in my window and I could watch everything going on," Miller said of her vantage point in New Albany. "And I'm like 'What are they doing?' And they started pulling up evidence stuff. So I wasn't sure what was going on, Everything was just there. But it was just scary."
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confirmed it was part of the investigation as well. The FBI said Wednesday it hoped to release more information soon.
