LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — New Chapel Fire and EMS is suing its former boss, Jamey Noel.

The lawsuit, filed Friday in Clark County, focuses on two fire department credit cards Noel, his wife, Misty and daughter, Kasey, are accused of racking up millions on lavish trips, expensive clothes and jewelry, tanning and Netflix.

The lawsuit claims Noel has not given back the credit cards even though he was removed as chief earlier this year, and may still be charging items on them.

New Chapel's new chief Matt Owen said he's reached out to the credit card companies directly, but he's been told he's unable to close the accounts or make any changes while they are still in Noel's name.

Noel, his wife and daughter face dozens of charges related to theft, fraud and tax evasion. The Noel family have all pleaded not guilty.
