LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — New warehouse space is taking shape in Shelby County as a massive logistics hub moves closer to opening.
According to our partners at Louisville Business First, Hunt Midwest is nearing completion of the first phase of its Simpsonville 64 Logistics Park along Interstate 64.
The developer already finished a 505,000-square-foot facility, with a second 270,000-square-foot building set to wrap up by August, bringing the first phase to about 775,000 square feet of industrial space.
The full project is expected to span more than 3.3 million square feet across 200+ acres, positioning it as one of the region’s major logistics developments.
While no tenants have been announced yet, the site’s proximity to UPS Worldport, FedEx Ground and the Amazon Air Hub is expected to make it a key draw for shipping and distribution companies.
