LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Shoppers in Shively have a new spot to find affordable clothing, furniture and household items.
St. Vincent de Paul celebrated the opening of its new Shively Center Thrift Store with a ribbon-cutting Tuesday morning. The store is on Dixie Highway near I-264.
Money raised through purchases at the store helps St. Vincent de Paul assist families dealing with financial hardship, homelessness and food insecurity.
The Shively store is the nonprofit's fourth thrift store in Louisville. Its other locations are at Dorsey Plaza, Hikes Point and the Bittersweet Shopping Center.
The store is open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sundays and Mondays.
