LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's been 100 years for Lakeside Swim Club, and special guests showed up Friday to celebrate.
Olympic swimmers Mary T. Meagher Plant and Leigh Ann Fetter Witt returned to Lakeside to celebrate the anniversary.
Meagher Plant competed in the Olympics twice, winning three gold medals, a silver and a bronze.
Fetter Witt participated in the 1988 Seoul Olympics and placed fifth, but three competitors later were disqualified for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs.
