LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An overturned semi shut down the eastbound lanes of Interstate 265 near Jeffersonville Wednesday morning.
Indiana State Police Sgt. Carey Huls posted on X around 5:15 a.m. on Wednesday that all eastbound lanes were shut down near the 7.6 mile marker.
The eastbound lanes of I-265 are closed at the 7.6 mile marker due to an overturned semi…AGAIN. Thankfully, no injuries. The first overturned truck was hauling cheese. This one 70K lbs of ice-cream. I’ll check with INDOT but I think I-265 is lactose intolerant. 🧐🐮 pic.twitter.com/CFFxf62qpH

The semi-truck spilled 70,000 lbs. of ice cream across the interstate.
No injuries were reported.
The eastbound lanes reopened around 6:15 a.m., according to Huls.
This is the second overturned semi in 24 hours on I-265, just a few miles down from the first one.
