LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Part of Interstate 264 has reopened after shutting down Thursday afternoon due to downed electrical wires.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the temporary closure affected I-264 East and West between KY 1447 (Westport Road at mile point 20.7 and the I-264/I-71 interchange near KY 22 (Brownsboro Road) at mile point 22.7.
LG&E-KU crews were able to repair the downed wires and the interstate reopened a little after 5 p.m.
