LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A national Pokémon competition is being held in Louisville this weekend.
Louisville Pokémon Regional Championships is being hosted at the Kentucky International Convention Center in downtown Louisville on Saturday and Sunday. More than 2,500 competitors registered from across the country.
There are three different competitions, including a card portion, video game and Pokémon Go. Children and adults compete in separate division.
Cash prizes will be awarded to the top places in each division. Pokémon play will wrap up on Sunday.
