LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Love was in the air at the Louisville Zoo Friday.Â
The zoo had its own "beary" special Valentine's Day with polar bears Qannik and Bo.Â
The polar bears spent the day playing and enjoying a meal together.Â
Qannik was rescued from Alaska's North Slope in 2011, and has been one of the zoo's most famous residents ever since.
Bo was born at the Toledo Zoo, and arrived at the Louisville Zoo last year in hopes to mate with Qannik.
Last month, WDRB stopped by the zoo for an update on the couple. Ron Evans, zoo's general curator, said the pair seem to be a great match.
"Fortunately, things have been going fantastic," Evans told WDRB in January.
Qannik and Bo are on exhibit in Glacier Run. For tickets and more information, click here.
