LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- LMPD is investigating a fatal shooting that happened in Louisville's Beechmont neighborhood on Saturday morning.
Police say they responded to the shooting at about 2:00 a.m. in the 1200 block of Bicknell Avenue.
The deputy coroner says the victim was 21-year-old Bryan Lewis, who lived at the home. He died at the scene.
A pit bull was also injured in the incident, and was transported to an animal center for treatment.
LMPD spokesperson Carey Klain says there were other people in the home at the time of the shooting. Police were talking to witnesses and family members early Saturday morning, but had no suspects at the time.
