LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There is a scheduled road closure at Progress Way near Interstate 65 in southern Indiana on Monday.
Indiana Department of Transportation will close Progress Way over I-65 near Clarksville. The bridge is located west of U.S. 31. It is expected to remain closed for up to 11 weeks.
According to a news release, during the closure, motorists should use the official detour, which goes on U.S. 31 to Lewis and Clark Parkway to Greentree Boulevard to Veterans Parkway to Sam Gwin Boulevard to Progress Way.
The project is part of a $22.9 million contract awarded to E&B Paving, according to a news release. It is one of 11 projects on the contract.
INDOT encourages drivers to go slow and use caution while traveling through work zones.
