LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Residents of Louisville's Dosker Manor public housing experienced more trouble on Tuesday as there were no working elevators in the building.
Several people with physical disabilities live in the high-rise near the corner of Muhammad Ali Boulevard and Liberty Street.
Louisville Metro Public Housing Authority, who some Metro councilmembers describe as Louisville's worst slumlord, said a fire last week caused flooding, and the elevators went out due to water damage.
At least one elevator was working again when WDRB News checked Tuesday afternoon.
Maintenance, repairs and safety at Dosker Manor have been the subject of public hearings and much criticism from Metro Council.
