LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — There's a new resource available for Louisville families fighting medical battles.
On Thursday, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana announced a new transportation option for families staying there.Â
It will offer a shuttle service in partnership with LOUMED, the city's medical district.Â
Organizers said it makes a difference for families already going through a tough time.
"You don't expect to come here and just be spoiled rotten, honest to God, and that's just what we've been. It's just been wonderful," said Kalyn Redwine, who is staying at the Ronald McDonald House.
The shuttle will transport families to and from downtown hospitals from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
