LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A cross-country motorcycle ride passed through Louisville on route to the nation's capital.

On Wednesday, The Run For The Wall made a stop at the VA Hospital on Zone Avenue in Louisville. The ride honors veterans, their families and friends, and raises awareness for those still missing with a motto of "We Ride For Those Who Can't."

The ride or "run" as motorcyclists call it, starts in Ontario, California, and ends 10 days later at the Vietnam Memorial Wall in Washington, D.C. Ages of the participants range from 8 to 80.

Also on Wednesday, the ride made stops in Corydon, Indiana, and throughout Kentucky.
