LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Banana Ball took over downtown Louisville Thursday night as more than 13,000 fans packed Slugger Field for the Savannah Bananas.

They're an international sensation as they do their crazy take on baseball with uniforms as wild as their antics.

The Bananas are playing their rival the Party Animals in a 3-game series at Slugger Field.

"I just love how much fun it is," said Caroline, a fan. "I'm always engaged and always involved in what's going on. Regular baseball, I have no idea what's going on. I don't here either, but it's fun."

For so many of the fans who've seen all their videos and watch them on TV, this was their first chance to see the Bananas in person.

Tickets are already sold out for Friday and Saturday.
