LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- St. Joe's Picnic celebrated 175 years of tradition.
The annual fundraiser in the Crescent Hill neighborhood helps children served by St. Joseph Children's Home.
The celebration offers its popular chicken dinner for $1.75. Around 50,000 people are expected to attend the event.
"When you come here, you don't just see the families that live in this area, you see families from all over Louisville," said Mandy Hollister. "They are so eager to come in and help and spend their money for a good cause."
There was a wide variety of games and food trucks.
