LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A large fire damaged two apartment buildings in south Louisville early this morning, prompting a major response from multiple fire departments.
Crews responded to reports of a structure fire on Holly Park Drive to find two medium-sized apartment buildings fully engulfed in flames. Officials said both buildings were boarded up and unoccupied at the time.
Firefighters worked quickly to stop the fire from spreading to a nearby third building and to protect surrounding structures. No injuries were reported.
Authorities said the fire is considered suspicious and is under investigation by the Louisville Metro Arson Unit.
