LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — After cutting routes, TARC now wants people to pay more to ride the bus.
The city's bus agency will hold public meetings on proposed fare changes. It would be the first price increase since 2012.
The plan would raise the cost of a bus ride by up to 50 cents, and a monthly pass would cost $25 more.
TARC is required to do a review and get feedback before the board of directors considers raising fares.
Meeting schedule:
- Tuesday, January 20, 5–7 p.m. at Shively City Hall, 3920 Dixie Highway
- Wednesday, January 21, 5–7 p.m. at United Crescent Hill Ministries, 150 State St.
