LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Police arrested a man for entering Louisville Metro Police Chief Paul Humphrey’s home.

According to an arrest report, it happened Saturday night.

Police arrested Brandon Randall, of Louisville, and charged him with alcohol intoxication, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.

LMPD said in a state that Randell briefly opened the door at Humphrey's home and then said he was at the wrong place before leaving.

However, court documents say he actually, "entered the residence" before being confronted by someone inside, and then left.

After leaving the chief's home, neighbors said Randall knocked on other doors in the neighborhood.

Police found Randall about a half mile away from the chief's home and arrested him.

He's expected to be in court Wednesday morning.
