UK's new $49 million baseball stadium named Kentucky Proud Park

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Kentucky Farm Bureau secured the naming rights to the University of Kentucky's new baseball stadium.

Officials say the new name, Kentucky Proud Park, is a tribute to farmers and businesses throughout Kentucky. The UK Board of Trustees approved the naming at its meeting Friday.

The recently completed $49 million stadium includes seating for 2,500.

The naming rights for Kentucky Proud Park run through 2033.
