LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Tuition is likely to go up for University of Kentucky students.
In an email that went out to students, President Eli Capilouto said a proposed 2019-2020 budget increases undergraduate tuition and mandatory fees by 2.4 percent.
The Board of Trustees will have to approve the proposed budget at its meeting in June.
The president says more than 5,400 first-year students have committed to attend UK in the Fall.
