LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A new multi-specialty clinic is now open in downtown Louisville.
The ribbon was cut Thursday on the UofL Health-UofL Hospital Multi-Specialty Clinic on East Chestnut Street.
The $1.3 million investment offers specialty services for multiple sclerosis, bone health, rheumatology, neuroimmunology, burns, inflammatory bowel disease and specialty injections.
"It's about bringing all the different pieces of our overall health care system to the patient instead of making the patient run around our health care system to access our services," Dr. Jason Smith, UofL Health chief medical officer, said.
The care team will be able to offer medications, nutrition, resource access, case management and more.
