Jeffersonville wants downtown Vintage Fire Museum to vacate

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A fire museum in southern Indiana is expanding.

The Vintage Fire Museum and Safety Education Center will double its size for more displays in Jeffersonville. According to a news release Wednesday, the new 7,000-suare-foot building will complement the current building.

The expansion will share more history of firefighting. The new building's facade at 723 Spring St. is planned to look like a vintage firehouse.
