LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The west branch of the Jefferson County Clerk's Office will be closed for the next month for flood repairs.
The location on Amy Avenue won't reopen until Monday, Aug. 31.Â
The branch originally closed last week for repairs, but additional work is required after storms hit earlier this month.
"We understand the inconvenience this continued closure may cause our customers, and we appreciate their patience and understanding as we work to fully resolve these persistent flooding-related issues," Jefferson County Clerk David Yates said in a statement. "Our top priority remains ensuring the safety of our staff and visitors while restoring services at the West Branch as quickly and safely as possible."
Customers are encouraged to visit one of the other branch locations until it reopens.
