LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Cleanup is taking place in downtown Louisville following recent flooding.
Maintenance workers with the Waterfront Development Corporation have been cleaning up the Great Lawn.
Crews are removing debris and moving logs and branches back into the water.
Workers hope to have a majority of the cleanup completed by Friday.
A Public Works spokesman said crews were also cleaning mud off River Road on Tuesday.
River Road at Sixth and Seventh Streets has re-opened, but will temporarily close Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for additional cleanup.
