LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Spot gets a new spot to call home.
The young adult opportunity center is now located in the Southland Terrace shopping center on 7th Street Road in Shively.
The Spot provides free career and educational resources for people between the ages of 16 and 24 in the Louisville region.
It's designed for people who are continuing their education, starting a career or gaining credentials.
"Just being here at The Spot has brought me hope for my future," Haylee Sloss, an intern at The Spot, said. "I grew up in the west end, and now I'm interning at The Spot right now. So I just want to say, to the young adults that feel like they don't have a better way of going about things, to just come to The Spot and see what these opportunities can do for your future."
The Spot also has locations in downtown Louisville, Bullitt County and Henry County.
