Protesters gather in downtown Louisville demanding justice for Breonna Taylor

Hundreds of people have gathered Thursday evening in downtown Louisville to protest recent events involving police across the U.S. and the shooting death of Louisville resident Breonna Taylor in March.

The protesters began gathering around 7 p.m. on Jefferson Street and have largely centered around the Hall of Justice.
Although some of the protests turned violent, the movement has led to positive changes in the community that continue today.
