If a restaurant or bar is not following the rules, the health department has the authority to inspect it and issue corrective orders or citations.
As of Thursday, 1,756 Kentuckians were hospitalized with COVID-19, according to the governor's office.
The 10% boost is only allowed if businesses can achieve it while enforcing social distancing guidelines, the governor said.
