"I'm not bashing our county, but they just need help. Their run volumes are going up."

Bullitt County EMS said it could be one of the first in the state of Kentucky to provide Axon body cameras to all of its staff.

The department usually has eight ambulances, but it was down to four before Louisville Metro EMS stepped up to help. 

The Zoneton Fire Protection District said it's been sworn to secrecy until now.

The lawsuit lists 27 people involved in inappropriate romantic relationships.

The emergency medical service will begin serving Bullitt County starting at 9 a.m. on June 28.

Sen. McConnell says one last rescue package is in the works -- but he doesn't hold out hope that it will be passed until after the election.

The goal is to have a paramedic on every ambulance, every shift, every day.

 When Bullitt County residents call 911, a shortage of paramedics and EMTs means an ambulance isn't always immediately available. But new leaders in the county are hoping higher wages and stricter overtime rules will help keep first responders on the job.
