The suspect remains incarcerated at Louisville Metro Corrections, and will be brought back to Floyd County to face charges "at a date yet to be determined."Â
Police Chief Todd Bailey said officers responded to the 3400 block of Greenview Drive on a possible homicide just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
He is also facing three misdemeanor charges for criminal trespass, interference in reporting a crime and harassment.
Officers and firefighters were called to Bicknell Park, at Silver Street near Reno Avenue, at 2 p.m. Wednesday on a report that there was a fire at the playground.
The estimated $12 million project would be across the street from the department's current location, at Scribner Drive and West Spring Street.
Police were called to the 300 block of Erni Avenue about 9 p.m. Sunday.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired in the area of 132 Village Drive around noon Saturday, New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey said in a news release.
