One person suffered minor injuries after a van struck a vehicle stopped for a train on Six Mile Lane, pushing it into the side of a stopped Norfolk Southern train Friday morning.
LMPD spokesperson Dwight Mitchell said 7th Division officers are investigating a rear-end crash that happened just before 1:30 p.m. Sunday on Old Preston Highway at Preston Highway.
State data shows that six of the eight collisions near the I-65 split at the Jefferson Street ramp since the start of 2024 occurred in "wet" conditions.
The crash happened before 10 a.m.
According to LMPD spokesman Aaron Ellis, the crash happened just after 7:00 p.m. on Seventh Street Road at Wurtele Avenue.
No serious injuries were reported, according to police.
Officers believe one of the vehicles was traveling on I-264 near the Dumesnil Street and Virginia Avenue off ramp when it was side-swiped by a wrong-way driver.
The crash was reported in the southbound lanes, near the Louisville Muhammed Ali International Airport.
The crash was called in just before 11 p.m. on Thursday night.
