Monday was the start of the two-month I-65 closure between Jefferson Street and Interstate 264.
Access will still be very restricted, limited to businesses on the south side.
The newly-renovated Gate 4 now offers a modern, expanded entrance along Crittenden Drive. It features six lanes, up from just three, nine new digital signs and the largest car line-up space of any of the other gates.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
Police said USPS Postal Inspectors are leading the investigation.
The shooting happened just after midnight on Nov. 23 in the 2100 block of Crittenden Drive, near the University of Louisville campus.
One person was killed and another was injured in the crash Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened after 11 a.m. on Friday.
Dejmi Dumervil-Jean died last week in Louisville.
Around 12:24 p.m., Louisville Metro Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Crittenden Drive, off of I-65.
