LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky Kingdom is hiring for the upcoming season.
The amusement park is holding a hiring event this Saturday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, March 2 from 12-4 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Airport Hotel at 2735 Crittenden Drive.Â
Usually, the park has more than 1,000 open seasonal positions. But this year, a record number of rehires are returning, leaving only about 500 open positions.
Some of the incentives to being a seasonal employee include tuition assistance, free tickets for loved ones, and discount admission to any other Herschend properties.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old, and pay starts between $12-$16 an hour depending on age and position.
