A Louisville grand jury on July 30 declined to indict Louisville Metro Police Officer Alyssa Begel on a charge of second-degree manslaughter in the death of 61-year-old Charles Briscoe.
LMPD spokesman Dwight Mitchell said officers were called to the 9000 block of Dixie Highway around 5:40 a.m. on initial reports of a shooting.
The crash was reported in the southbound lanes, near the Louisville Muhammed Ali International Airport.
Officers responded to a Shotspotter call in the 2400 block of Magazine Street just before 1:00 a.m.
Police said in an update Saturday afternoon that the fourth victim had been located and all recovery efforts have ended.
A young girl believed to be around 3 years old was rescued from the home and taken to the hospital.
Paul Heiniger, 33, was arrested after hitting and killing a man on Taylorsville Road while driving under the influence.
The vehicle and driver fled the scene.
The driver of the vehicle continued to drive northbound after the collision and did not stop.
Investigators will release the names and ages of the victims once the investigation is further along.
