An alleged carjacker was arrested early Saturday morning after leading Louisville police on a chase.
Louisville police said members of the Criminal Interdiction Division–Violent Crime Unit were surveilling the suspect and attempted to stop him in the 4300 block of South 3rd Street after they saw him driving a stolen car.
All three suspects have been charged with engaging in organized crime, fleeing police in a motor vehicle, tampering with physical evidence, criminal mischief, as well as multiple other charges.
Police said a suspect tried breaking into a car behind the post office in St. Matthews.
There are always hundreds of officers on the ground, but LMPD also has two Air Units to keep an eye on things from up above.
A 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
