According to police, officers found one man inside the building and another outside, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The shooting happened around 5:40 p.m. May 1 in the 3200 block of West Kentucky Street.
Investigators with LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit later identified Elijah Braxton, 18, as a suspect in the case.
A 17-year-old was shot Monday evening in Louisville's Shelby Park neighborhood.
Police said the incident appears to be "domestic in nature."
Police were called to the 400 block of North 28th Street at 5 p.m. April 19 on a reported shooting.
Court records indicate additional charges may be filed related to the incident.
According to LMPD Deputy Chief Ryan Bates, officers responded at 4:09 p.m. April 6 to a report that the suspect in a recent homicide, 18-year-old Nathan Walker, was at the Taco Bell on South 1st Street and West Broadway.
His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, according to LMPD.
