The man found dead at McNeely Lake Park in Louisville over the weekend was identified Monday.
Police said the suspect is believed to be a short man, approximately 5 feet, 1 inches tall to 5 feet, 4 inches tall, and that he could be armed and dangerous.
Louisville Metro Police said officers responded just before 2 a.m. to the 2000 block of Landing Drive in Buechel, just south of Bardstown Road.
The shooting happened around 4:16 a.m. in the 2300 block of Hale Avenue.
According to LMPD, officers were called to the 5000 block of Kaufman Lane around 1:20 a.m. on a report of a shooting.
A teen is in critical condition after being shot in Louisville's Shively neighborhood.
Nobody died early Saturday morning when someone opened fire inside Burger Boy in Old Louisville, but Lesley Vowels, an employee of the restaurant, said it's burned in her memory.
The shooting was reported around 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the 6500 block of Don Bon Court.
The shooting happened in the 1400 block of South 8th Street at around 11 p.m.
Police said all parties have been accounted for and the investigation is ongoing.
